Our Council, committees and boards meet throughout the year, via both virtual and in-person meetings.
All members are encouraged to attend our annual general meetings (AGMs).
Members are also invited to observe the open sessions of Council and to submit proposals for items to be considered by Council. Summaries, minutes and papers from previous Council meetings are available to members.
What is governance?
Governance is the system of rules, practices and processes used to direct and control our organisation. Governance tells us who can make decisions, who has the authority to act on behalf of our organisation and who is accountable for how we behave and perform.

General meetings
A general meeting sees our membership come together to make decisions on proposals put to them by Council or by other members. Annual general meetings (AGMs) are held every year, and extraordinary general meetings (EGMs) can be called to discuss an issue of particular importance or concern.
Create or sign a general meeting petition
We're committed to working collaboratively with our members. All members can create or sign a digital petition calling for an extraordinary general meeting or add a resolution to an upcoming general meeting.
