This seminar will explore meeting the mental health needs of children and young people with an intellectual disability.
Policy is shifting towards regional implementation of Intellectual Disability Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (IDCAMHS) to better meet the mental health needs of children and young people with intellectual or learning disabilities.
This seminar will explore these specific needs and how to support them holistically, helping to inform and enhance local service development and nursing practice.
Who should attend?
Registered nurses working in CAMHS or with children and young people with intellectual disabilities, including those involved in transitions to adult services.
Special Feature: A musical performance by Glenveagh Special School.
This seminar is open to ºÚÁÏÍø members and non-members.
